Please follow these instructions in order to help us with our upgrade, unless you have a "Static IP", if you are not sure, feel free to call us at (208) 762-8065 or (208) 256-3533.

First identify if you have a router, this should be a device that sits where we pulled the cable into your home, and may be labeled "Linksys", "D-Link", "Netgear", "Belkin", or possibly another brand. If you don't have a router, please skip ahead. After you have identified that your home has a router, go to a computer, (preferably not connected wirelessly to the router) and open your internet browser. Try browsing to either "http://192.168.0.1", "http://192.168.1.1" , or "http://192.168.2.1" one of them should eather bring up a webpage, or ask for a password. If prompted for a password, try "admin" or "password", the username is usualy blank, but could be "admin" as well. If you have dificulty logging in to your router, consult the documentation to find the password.

Once logged into the router, look for a heading similar to "Internet" or "WAN", again, you may have to consult your documentation. Once there, look for a setting that you can change to "Dynamic" or "DHCP", please change to those settings. After making the change, look for a save or commit changes button on the page.

And you're done.
