Great news, Lone Mountain tower upgrades are underway! We are making significant updates to one of our main towers that delivers internet service to Rathdrum, Hayden, Athol, Bayview and Spirit Lake This will greatly increase bandwidth and consistency to the northern region of Kootenai County. Upgrades will be starting the morning of Wednesday, November 10th at 9am.
Please anticipate an internet outage for 1-3 hours and intermittent outages through the rest of the day, as well as possible intermittent outages Thursday, November 11th. This is a huge undertaking that we have spent almost a year preparing for but our promise to you is to work as quickly and safely as possible. All of our tower engineers and every internal engineer are working hard on this project.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; but we’re looking forward to the improved service it will provide to our area around Lone Mountain tower.
