Hauser – Watch for teams boring under the BNSF Railroad on Mcguire Rd in late January!

Hoyt and Church Roads – Installations are anticipated to begin on Hoyt Road in February (weather allowing) followed by Church Road in the spring. 

Chase Road, N. Idaho Road, Hidden Valley Road – Installations likely late spring/summer 

Highway 54 areas:  

Seasons Rd – Private property permissions prevent construction on Cooper and Lone Mountain Trail. We’re trying to reach you! 

Athol/Walking Horse – Installations starting in February/March. 

Athol/Treeport – Installations expected this summer.  

Sandpoint/Selle Valley area:
Fiber is coming as soon as this summer! Please check your mail and reach out to Intermax if you live on a private road, especially West Shore Lane, American Lane, Lost Horse Lane, Esther Lane, Jeffries Lane, Farkle Flats Road, Sunnyside Hill Road, and Deer Ridge Road. 

FIXED WIRELESS UPDATES

South of Coeur d’Alene & St. Maries – New backup systems on equipment in these service areas now protect customers from weather power outages for up to 10 hours. 

St Maries – Fiber-speed internet (up to 1Gb symmetrical) now available in the Garden Tracts neighborhood! No waiting!

Coeur d’Alene – An upgrade to the Canfield Butte tower extended the service area with increased reliability and new speed options for 419 current customers. Tell a friend! 

North Hayden Lake (and other areas) – Intermax customers were immune to the widespread Dec 18 power outages thanks to a 2024 rebuild that added additional resiliency. 

Schweitzer Mountain – A major weather-related outage occurred Jan 3rd when a fiber line feeding the area broke beneath 12 feet of snow. Our crews worked into the night excavating two vaults to restore service at 1:00 AM. See a photo on the blog!
